Updates on Sewing Up My Fabric!

Since I originally posted my description of this blog, I have somewhat erred from my intention. I have actually bought much more fabric than I had but ................. in my defense, I got the solids at 50% off and the quilt shop fabric at 75% off, so that doesn't count, right? LOL

Last Linky for RSC16 and Wishing Everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

RSC16 quilt top ready to be quilted.
I played around with them for a while and then decided they looked best in the order that the colors were announced each month.
I am linking up with Angela at so scrappy for the last post of RSC16
Thanks Angela!

Berry Cross QAL
Another 2016 quilt top ready to be quilted.
You can find the QAL information here.
Charming Plus QAL
I did not finish this quilt for the final linkup but I will get it quilted soon.  I used 5" squares instead of 2-1/2" squares. I really enjoyed the process of this QAL.
You can find the linky here to see the wonderful quilts that were made.

Happy New Year!

2017 Planning Linky Party

2017 - A Year of Finishes

I am linking up with Yvonne and others for a 2017 Planning Linky Party.  It took me part of 2015 and 2016 to get my house ready to put on the market.  In early November, I sold my house, moved out, bought a house and moved in all in 7 days!  I am not totally "moved in" but I am making progress.  I am now in a position to quilt my heart out with a few chores and family time mixed in.  Below are my goals for the year.  I think they are attainable.  We shall see.

2017 Goals:
1.  Completely finish one quilt per week including quilting and binding.
2.  Organize my fabric stash
3.  Get my scraps into manageable pre-cuts.

Please go over to Yvonne's blog and join the fun!

Berry Cross Update

Berry Cross QAL Blocks Completed
It has been one month since my last post.
During that time, I sold a house, moved out, bought a house and moved in all in one week!

I thought I lived a simple life, but it didn't seem so simple when we had to change addresses and moved services, learn our way around a new city.  The first night we tried to find the pizza place in the dark, we wound up at Houston Intercontinental Airport!

Well, I am not totally "moved-in" but I did manage to get caught up on my Berry Cross QAL.
You can find all of the information for this QAL here.

I hope to get back into my "quilting groove" soon!
