Several y...I used to just store my scraps by color. Several years ago I decided to put all of the same fabrics in a plastic baggie and I put the baggies in containers by color. They were sorted, but I didn't use the much. Now, I am taking the opportunity with RSC15 to cut them all up into precuts and make fabric slabs out of the leftovers. My plan is to actually cut the slabs into precuts as well. So much fun to dig it out and use it up. Our guild has a get'er done challenge to finish up those projects we already started, i.e. UFO's, PIGS, Etc. Finished two charity quilts this week with blocks already made. I love the idea of a strip mountain in various colors!
