A little over 30 years ago, I started collecting fabric. I felt like I needed a good variety in order to make my quilts. About 10 years ago, I stopped collecting fabric. I determined that I needed to sew up my fabric before I could buy any more. I have only made a few exceptions since then, and I try to limit myself to buying only solids. You will be able to tell by my quilts that most of the fabric is now what is called "vintage."

ReplyDeleteNice looking block! I went back to see your previous blocks for the Starry Bright Sky QAL - will be really nice once put together! You did the QAL last year too I see - very nice. If I had seen your fabrics I would have done it too! I'm also trying to use the fabric I already have, but do not have the same good sense of color and what goes together as you do.
