| Baby Quilt #2 top completed Day 5 I spent a total of 3 hours and 10 minutes to get this top completed. This one really felt like a marathon. All I had to do was sew the triangles with the 4-patches. It felt like a true marathon. Just one more triangle, just one more triangle, but one at a time I finally got them done. Then I just needed to put the rows together. Only 7 seams. How long could that take? Not too long but it seemed like forever, but finally, I have another top ready to quilt. A little over 30 years ago, I started collecting fabric. I felt like I needed a good variety in order to make my quilts. About 10 years ago, I stopped collecting fabric. I determined that I needed to sew up my fabric before I could buy any more. I have only made a few exceptions since then, and I try to limit myself to buying only solids. You will be able to tell by my quilts that most of the fabric is now what is called "vintage."
The quilt turned out so nice with you putting the scrappy 4 patches in between the rows like that. Good job.
