One Monthly Goal for April These blocks have been sitting for a long time waiting to become a quilt. These were swap blocks from a group called Stroll the Block. I hope to get these sewn together, quilted and bound in April. I am linking up with Patty at Elm Street Quilts. Click HERE to see what other are hoping to accomplish this month! |
A little over 30 years ago, I started collecting fabric. I felt like I needed a good variety in order to make my quilts. About 10 years ago, I stopped collecting fabric. I determined that I needed to sew up my fabric before I could buy any more. I have only made a few exceptions since then, and I try to limit myself to buying only solids. You will be able to tell by my quilts that most of the fabric is now what is called "vintage."
Updates on Sewing Up My Fabric!
Since I originally posted my description of this blog, I have somewhat erred from my intention. I have actually bought much more fabric than I had but ................. in my defense, I got the solids at 50% off and the quilt shop fabric at 75% off, so that doesn't count, right? LOL
