Additional red blocks The top two blocks are from where I left off with RSC15! Yep, life got in the way, but I am hoping to finish the blocks I need with this round of RSC colors. I am so glad that Angela has kept the instructions for the RSC15 on the website. Also, back in 2015, I started a scrappy stars quilt but didn't get all of those colors done, so I am attempting that one as well. I don't know when I started the Bottled Rainbows blocks but I am back on a roll and hope to continue with the RSC colors until I have a quilt. I am linking up with Angela for the RSC19. I am so grateful that she continues to do this. I know it is a lot of work in addition to her busy lifestyle. |
A little over 30 years ago, I started collecting fabric. I felt like I needed a good variety in order to make my quilts. About 10 years ago, I stopped collecting fabric. I determined that I needed to sew up my fabric before I could buy any more. I have only made a few exceptions since then, and I try to limit myself to buying only solids. You will be able to tell by my quilts that most of the fabric is now what is called "vintage."
Updates on Sewing Up My Fabric!
Since I originally posted my description of this blog, I have somewhat erred from my intention. I have actually bought much more fabric than I had but ................. in my defense, I got the solids at 50% off and the quilt shop fabric at 75% off, so that doesn't count, right? LOL
