Just sewing up the scraps from leftover blue project this month. I still need to square them up, but I think I will do that a little later in the year.

A little over 30 years ago, I started collecting fabric. I felt like I needed a good variety in order to make my quilts. About 10 years ago, I stopped collecting fabric. I determined that I needed to sew up my fabric before I could buy any more. I have only made a few exceptions since then, and I try to limit myself to buying only solids. You will be able to tell by my quilts that most of the fabric is now what is called "vintage."

Nice blues, I want to see how these come together!
Lots of pretty blue blocks there x
I was a magpie with fabrics for years too thinking I needed a variety to make a quilt. Well you do, but somehow most of the variety gets purchased new doesn't it? Anyway, I'm trying to use mine up too. About 3 years down and not much of a dent in my stash LOL.
I couldn't reply to your comment Pamela as you are a Google+ lady. Thanks for your visit.
Looking at your latest posts, you e done some fine things. The Twinkles are very nicely done. The Addicts blocks are impressive alone and in the group. Good going!
Great way to use up the left over scraps so you have blocks ready to go for a project.
