Updates on Sewing Up My Fabric!

Since I originally posted my description of this blog, I have somewhat erred from my intention. I have actually bought much more fabric than I had but ................. in my defense, I got the solids at 50% off and the quilt shop fabric at 75% off, so that doesn't count, right? LOL

Liberated Piecing, Wild Quilting and Divide and Conquer

Liberated Piecing Mystery
Cindy Carter hosted a liberated piecing mystery. This is my completed top.
I figured if the quilt was liberated, then I should continue on with wild quilting!

My quilting was inspired by two Craftsy Classes
I know that the quilting would have looked better in a matching thread but I was feeling pretty wild and wanted to get bold.  I am glad that I used the black thread for quilting because it really helps me to see where I need to improve and by trying to incorporate so many designs in this quilt, I got a better feel of what I think my personal style will be.
Wild Quilting

I figured this was a good quilt to practice my wild quilting which was inspired by Christina Cameli's Craftsy Class.

Divide & Conquer
I also incorporated some techniques of Lori Kennedy's Craftsy Class.

I bought the Wild Quilting class also, but haven't had a chance to watch it. Looks like you learned a lot from it. The quilting looks great!
