Updates on Sewing Up My Fabric!

Since I originally posted my description of this blog, I have somewhat erred from my intention. I have actually bought much more fabric than I had but ................. in my defense, I got the solids at 50% off and the quilt shop fabric at 75% off, so that doesn't count, right? LOL

2017 Planning Linky Party

2017 - A Year of Finishes

I am linking up with Yvonne and others for a 2017 Planning Linky Party.  It took me part of 2015 and 2016 to get my house ready to put on the market.  In early November, I sold my house, moved out, bought a house and moved in all in 7 days!  I am not totally "moved in" but I am making progress.  I am now in a position to quilt my heart out with a few chores and family time mixed in.  Below are my goals for the year.  I think they are attainable.  We shall see.

2017 Goals:
1.  Completely finish one quilt per week including quilting and binding.
2.  Organize my fabric stash
3.  Get my scraps into manageable pre-cuts.

Please go over to Yvonne's blog and join the fun!

Going through my stash I too have no solids. I went to Joanne's over the weekend to buy some solids and there were NONE. Ok, a chartreuse color (which I bought) but none of the royal purple that I really wanted.
I was just thinking of how fabric, like hairstyles, can be placed in the decade that they originated from. Who'd thunk?
