Updates on Sewing Up My Fabric!

Since I originally posted my description of this blog, I have somewhat erred from my intention. I have actually bought much more fabric than I had but ................. in my defense, I got the solids at 50% off and the quilt shop fabric at 75% off, so that doesn't count, right? LOL

Last Linky for RSC16 and Wishing Everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

RSC16 quilt top ready to be quilted.
I played around with them for a while and then decided they looked best in the order that the colors were announced each month.
I am linking up with Angela at so scrappy for the last post of RSC16
Thanks Angela!

Berry Cross QAL
Another 2016 quilt top ready to be quilted.
You can find the QAL information here.
Charming Plus QAL
I did not finish this quilt for the final linkup but I will get it quilted soon.  I used 5" squares instead of 2-1/2" squares. I really enjoyed the process of this QAL.
You can find the linky here to see the wonderful quilts that were made.

Happy New Year!

Beautiful with a black background. It really ties everything together beautifully.

Nice work during 2016! I have a word of warning about your goal for 2017 (found at the top of your page.) While 52 quilts in 52 weeks SOUNDS like a fabulous goal, but made one of my friends tire of quilting and she now neglects her sewing room almost completely. Tread carefully!!

Thanks for the warning. I don't know how successful I will be with this goal but it is a goal I am reaching for pending unexpected life experiences! Let's see how long I can hold up! LOL

I like your version of the RSC 2016 blocks. That's going to be a handsome quilt.
