I cannot believe that I finally finished my OMG in time to post!
This baby quilt has a bit of a story behind it. I guess all quilts do. Right?
Last July I went to a grand opening of a new fabric shop in Wiesbaden, Germany. I met the owner and she is a lovely person. Of course, there was a slight language barrier, mostly on my part, but I still loved walking through her store and when I saw this foxy fabric, I just had to buy some, in meters, of course!

I am so glad I get to link up with Patty at Elm Street Quilts OMG and all the others who have managed to meet their goals this month.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT THIS QUILT
I used Karen Vail's pattern in the Moda Bake Shop.

Karen's pattern says it will work for any size square as long as the two large squares are the same size. Since I had yardage and only 4 fabrics for this quilt, I made my two big squares with 7 across and 7 down. I was surprised to see the layout after I cut the squares diagonally and sewed them back together. It looks like I planned it, but I didn't.
My quilt turned out to be 45" square.
I made it for our new 2 month old neighbor across the street and I am told by her parents that she is already enjoying it!

Your quilt is so cute. Congrats on getting it done.
A very sweet quilt! I laughed at your header story about buying fabric. I'm in the same cycle. Bought way too much in 2017 and now am drowning in fabric. So 2018 is NO fabric buying all year. So far, so good. Only 3/4 of the year left and I can make it.
Very cute quilt
Such a great quilt! Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal and congrats on your finish.
It turned out cute! Thanks for sharing!
