Block Two We worked another day on this one. I have to give her all the credit for both of these blocks. All I did was the prep work on the strips! She did the rest. We looked at a lot of on line videos until she was able to make the cubes. I honestly don't think the cubes were any easier and neither does she! Wow, they are finished! A little over 30 years ago, I started collecting fabric. I felt like I needed a good variety in order to make my quilts. About 10 years ago, I stopped collecting fabric. I determined that I needed to sew up my fabric before I could buy any more. I have only made a few exceptions since then, and I try to limit myself to buying only solids. You will be able to tell by my quilts that most of the fabric is now what is called "vintage."
Updates on Sewing Up My Fabric!
Since I originally posted my description of this blog, I have somewhat erred from my intention. I have actually bought much more fabric than I had but ................. in my defense, I got the solids at 50% off and the quilt shop fabric at 75% off, so that doesn't count, right? LOL

2018 Mid-Year Review
2018 Planning
Using my new planner, I have chosen 3 main goals for the year.
1. Empty garage of all moving boxes - I have been moved in for a year now and still have a 3 car garage full of boxes! Oh my! I am hoping to get one box emptied each day until it is done. I also plan to take before and after pics.
While I haven't emptied a box a day, I have averaged that by emptying more on other days. I am just about half way through. I did take pictures but I had a computer glitch and lost them.
2. Sort all fabric - That seems to be a never-ending project but I have decided to start each week with a reasonable goal for sorting fabric for the week with before and after pics. I forgot to mention that I still have fabric in containers in the garage! Oh my!
I am making progress with my stash but I don't know if I will be where I would like to be at the end of this year.
3. Keep house clean - Now, my house isn't dirty, but I like to keep a handle on things and I figure if I make a plan, then I can work it around my quilting and I reference Cynthia Brunz's blog title "Quilting is more fun than Housework!" I can assure you that I'd rather be quilting!
I am slowly working into a routine to keep the house clean with minimal effort so I can concentrate on my quilts and fabric stash!
Well, I have all of this written in my Quilters' Planner so lets's see how I manage everything.
It did help to write things in my Quilters' Planner. I hope to do better with it next year.
I wish everyone their best in keeping up with their goals.
