OMG for July This picture was my June OMG which was to get this quilt top assembled. My July OMG is to get it quilted and bound. I am so excited to almost be finished with this quilt. I want to hang it in my sewing room. Please go to Elm Street Quilts and check out what others hope to complete this month! |
A little over 30 years ago, I started collecting fabric. I felt like I needed a good variety in order to make my quilts. About 10 years ago, I stopped collecting fabric. I determined that I needed to sew up my fabric before I could buy any more. I have only made a few exceptions since then, and I try to limit myself to buying only solids. You will be able to tell by my quilts that most of the fabric is now what is called "vintage."
Updates on Sewing Up My Fabric!
Since I originally posted my description of this blog, I have somewhat erred from my intention. I have actually bought much more fabric than I had but ................. in my defense, I got the solids at 50% off and the quilt shop fabric at 75% off, so that doesn't count, right? LOL

It's a great feeling to have the quilting nearly finished.
Yay Yay Yay. This was a joy for me, the designer, to see this pop up as your One Monthly Goal.
I forgot to link my finish for June, and have not yet chosen what I want for July.
Such a great quilt! Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal and good luck with your project.
I just love that pattern.
A beautiful quilt!
You have done such a great job with it. It's going to look so nice hanging up in your sewing room.
That is an adorable quilt! I hope you get it finished this month!
Hi Pam,
That quilt flimsy turned out great! This is a very achievable goal for July! I can't wait to see it all finished with the details on how you decided to quilt it. Don't forget to share a picture of it hanging in your sewing room!!
Happy Wednesday and Happy 4th of July! ~smile~ Roseanne
Those little sewing machines are so cute, although I love all the rows. I am sure you will be able to finish this quilt in July. I am looking forward to the finished quilt.
