OMG for August is the same as OMG for July! I really had high hopes for finishing this quilt in July but I didn't quite make it. I started out with a small daisy, all over design and quilted it more densely than I had planned, so it took me longer to quilt. I just have to finish quilting the sewing machines and the irons rows and then do the borders. Hopefully, this will be hanging on the wall in my sewing room by the end of this month! A little over 30 years ago, I started collecting fabric. I felt like I needed a good variety in order to make my quilts. About 10 years ago, I stopped collecting fabric. I determined that I needed to sew up my fabric before I could buy any more. I have only made a few exceptions since then, and I try to limit myself to buying only solids. You will be able to tell by my quilts that most of the fabric is now what is called "vintage."
Updates on Sewing Up My Fabric!
Since I originally posted my description of this blog, I have somewhat erred from my intention. I have actually bought much more fabric than I had but ................. in my defense, I got the solids at 50% off and the quilt shop fabric at 75% off, so that doesn't count, right? LOL

This is a really cute row by row quilt! It is going to be fun having it hanging on display!
That's really a great quilt.
You're almost there Pam. I can't wait to see it. Mine is on the schedule to quilt before January.
What a great quilt. Can't wait to see it all done. Just keep going one step at a time and it will be done quickly.
Great quilt. Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal and good luck with your project.
Hi Pamela, good luck with your July and August OMG! It's a really cute quilt
I sometimes also have plans to finish something earlier but I always have enough time at the end. This job needs some time. I keep my fingers crossed for the quick implementation of the project. I can not wait for the final effect.

What a lovely quilt! It deserves lots of quilting, so the time was obviously well spent. You might not have made your time goal, but have probably exceeded your quality one.
