A little over 30 years ago, I started collecting fabric. I felt like I needed a good variety in order to make my quilts. About 10 years ago, I stopped collecting fabric. I determined that I needed to sew up my fabric before I could buy any more. I have only made a few exceptions since then, and I try to limit myself to buying only solids. You will be able to tell by my quilts that most of the fabric is now what is called "vintage."

14" Hoop Quilts
I kept seeing posts of AnneMarie's Hoop Quilts and finally bought her pattern. Shortly after that, she hosted a Hoop Quilt Along. I decided that was a good time to start. I have several hoops that I don't use and I picked the two that happened to be handy. I certainly need to improve my handwork skills but I am still satisfied with my first attempt at the hoop quilts.
I am looking forward to making more of them (when I come across the rest of my hoops!)
Please check out her website at GEN X QUILTERS here!

29th Finish for 2017
This quilt is from a swap sometime around 2008. I am not sure about the date. I wound up with 24 blocks and some were more boyish and some more feminine so I chose to make a boy and girl one. (see 28th finish for the girl one).
You can find the free pattern HERE.
