OMG - June Yippee! I did it! I did it! I don't know why it was so intimidating and overwhelming for me to finish the quilt but thanks to Patty at Elm Streets Quilts for sponsoring the One Monthly Goal, I was able to do it. Here is a link to my original OMG post for June. Please click HERE to see all the wonderful projects people have completed this month. |
A little over 30 years ago, I started collecting fabric. I felt like I needed a good variety in order to make my quilts. About 10 years ago, I stopped collecting fabric. I determined that I needed to sew up my fabric before I could buy any more. I have only made a few exceptions since then, and I try to limit myself to buying only solids. You will be able to tell by my quilts that most of the fabric is now what is called "vintage."
Updates on Sewing Up My Fabric!
Since I originally posted my description of this blog, I have somewhat erred from my intention. I have actually bought much more fabric than I had but ................. in my defense, I got the solids at 50% off and the quilt shop fabric at 75% off, so that doesn't count, right? LOL

It really looks nice. I like your choice of fabric for the outer border. It frames it nicely. Congratulations!
Your quilters garden quilt is lovely as is Deana's... I finished mine very different to the pattern.

Yippee is right! It's so cute. The blocks/rows sure look like a lot of work!
