Block Two We worked another day on this one. I have to give her all the credit for both of these blocks. All I did was the prep work on the strips! She did the rest. We looked at a lot of on line videos until she was able to make the cubes. I honestly don't think the cubes were any easier and neither does she! Wow, they are finished! I am linking up with Alida for the Starry Bright Sky QAL July blocks. Click HERE to see what others have made. |
A little over 30 years ago, I started collecting fabric. I felt like I needed a good variety in order to make my quilts. About 10 years ago, I stopped collecting fabric. I determined that I needed to sew up my fabric before I could buy any more. I have only made a few exceptions since then, and I try to limit myself to buying only solids. You will be able to tell by my quilts that most of the fabric is now what is called "vintage."
Updates on Sewing Up My Fabric!
Since I originally posted my description of this blog, I have somewhat erred from my intention. I have actually bought much more fabric than I had but ................. in my defense, I got the solids at 50% off and the quilt shop fabric at 75% off, so that doesn't count, right? LOL
